Trpv4 Activation Aggravates Temporomandibular Joint Osteoarthritis Via P38 Mapk Pathway

open access: yesInternational Dental Journal
Aim or purpose: This study aimed to explore the underlying mechanisms after transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) activation in disc during the progress of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA).

CD36‐mediated lipid rewiring in the metabolic adaptation of tumour ecosystems

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Nutrient deprivation drives a lipid‐centric shift in tumour metabolic symbiosis and signalling network. CD36 functions as a bidirectional bridge, transferring fatty acids from stromal donors (adipocytes, CAFs) to the ecosystem tumour‐ and microenvironment‐dependently.

Protective effects of extracellular vesicle‐like nanoparticles derived from Cannabis sativa adventitious roots against UVB‐induced damage in human keratinocytes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, EarlyView.
Cannabis sativa root‐derived extracellular vesicle‐like nanoparticles (CA‐NPs) were isolated from adventitious root cultures and subjected to physicochemical characterization. Upon UVB exposure, keratinocytes exhibited increased ROS generation, apoptosis and MAPK activation, leading to oxidative stress and skin damage.

Malaria mosquito antimicrobial defence requires immunity and detoxification gene regulation by Lola

open access: yesInsect Molecular Biology, EarlyView.
Malaria mosquito antimicrobial defence requires upregulation of lola. Attenuation of lola in the midgut of Anopheles albimanus mosquitoes inhibits the upregulation of immunity genes induced by challenge. Putative target genes of the Lola transcription factor were revealed by lola attenuation, including Cecropin‐C, Draper, PPAF2, Clip‐domain serine ...

MyD88‐Family Adaptors: Compartmentalised Signalling and Non‐Immune Functions

open access: yesImmunology, EarlyView.
MyD88‐family adaptors coordinate receptor‐ and compartment‐specific innate immune signalling across plasma membrane and endosomal pathways. At the plasma membrane, TIRAP/MAL supports MyD88‐dependent signalling downstream of TLR2 and TLR4, whereas endosomal TLR7, TLR8 and TLR9 recruit MyD88 directly.

Mechanism of polysaccharide from Arthrospira platensis in regulating inflammatory response induced by porcine pseudorabies virus in porcine alveolar macrophages

open access: yesSiliao yanjiu
This study aimed to investigate the regulatory effect and mechanism of polysaccharide component 1 from Arthrospira platensis (PAP-1) on the inflammatory response induced by porcine pseudorabies virus (PRV) in porcine alveolar macrophages cells (3D4/2 ...
