CD 271 (P75 neurotrophin receptor)
Journal of biological regulators and homeostatic agents, 2008CD271, (or p75NTR) is the sixteenth member of the Tumor Necrosis Factor receptor (TNFR) super family of transmembrane proteins. Members of the TNFR family including CD271, share homology in their extracellular domain, and have a cytoplasmic death domain, although CD271 has unique intracellular structure and downstream signalling partners. CD271 is also

p75 neurotrophin receptor distribution and transport in cultured neurons
Neuroscience Research, 2008In this work, we define a GFP-tagged version of the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75GFP) as a useful molecular tool for studying its distribution and cellular dynamics. Expression and subcellular localization of p75GFP have been characterized in non-neuronal (HEK 293) and in neuronal (cortical and hippocampal) cells.

P75 Neurotrophin Receptor Expression in Squamous Cell Carcinoma
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2015P75 neurotrophin receptor (p75) is a transmembrane protein in the tumor necrosis receptor superfamily useful for the diagnosis of desmoplastic melanomas, desmoplastic trichoepitheliomas, and more recently used for detecting perineural invasion in oral and esophageal squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs).

The p75 neurotrophin receptor: multiple interactors and numerous functions
2004The neurotrophin receptor p75 (p75NTR), is involved in a diverse array of cellular responses, including apoptosis, neurite outgrowth and myelination. Stimulation of p75NTR with neurotrophin can activate multiple downstream signals, including the small GTP binding protein Rac, the transcription factor NF-kappa B and the stress activated kinase, JNK. How
