Signalni rak (Pacifastacus leniusculus) jedna je od najinvazivnijih vrsta u Europi. Unesen je u 20. stoljeću za nadomještanje autohtonih vrsta rakova čija se brojnost smanjila zbog epidemije račje kuge, ne znajući da je upravo signalni rak nositelj uzročnika bolesti, patogena Aphanomyces astaci.
