Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Precise Packet Loss Pattern Generation by Intentional Interference [PDF]
—Intermediate-quality links often cause vulnerable connectivity in wireless sensor networks, but packet losses caused by such volatile links are not easy to trace.

Performance analysis of the network communication based on AMR speech coding by using NS
Most of the VoIP systems were based on the speech codec with a fixed rate, which maked packet-loss serious, especially for continuous packet-loss.The degradation for the speech quality would be caused by the kind of packet-loss.A network communication ...

A Switching Approach to Packet Loss Compensation Strategy
In networked control systems, a zero or hold compensation strategy is usually used for the missing signal when a packet is lost. In this paper, a switching approach is proposed for the consecutive loss compensation, where the packet loss between sensor ...

Forensic analysis of packet losses in wireless networks [PDF]
Due to the lossy nature of wireless links, it is difficult to determine if packet losses are due to wireless-induced effects or from malicious discarding. Many prior efforts on detecting malicious packet drops rely on evidence collected via passive monitoring by neighbor nodes. However, they do not analyze the cause of packet losses.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
