‘LUMEN SUPERNATURALE ’ VS ‘LUMEN NATURALE ’: HUMAN RIGHTS AND THEIR RELIGIOUS IMPLICATIONS IN NATURAL LAW IN THE EARLY ENLIGHTENMENT (PUFENDORF – THOMASIUS – WOLFF)

open access: yesGerman Life and Letters, Volume 78, Issue 1, Page 16-30, January 2025.

Biogeography of orchids and their pollination syndromes in small Mediterranean islands

open access: yesJournal of Biogeography, Volume 51, Issue 5, Page 869-877, May 2024.
Abstract Aims Despite the research on orchid in insular conditions, few studies are focused on the spatial distribution of their reproductive syndromes across complex insular systems. By using island species–area relationships (ISAR), we explore orchid biogeography in the Central Western‐Mediterranean islands.

Wearable functional near‐infrared spectroscopy for measuring dissociable activation dynamics of prefrontal cortex subregions during working memory

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 45, Issue 2, 1 February, 2024.
Wearable high‐density functional near‐infrared spectroscopy captured neural activation dynamics across prefrontal subregions during a delayed match‐to‐sample task. Stimulus onset activated the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) first, followed by the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC); after the delay, the entire PFC deactivated.
