GCN2 in proteostasis: structural logic, signalling networks and disease
Threats to protein synthesis activate the kinase GCN2, initiating the integrated stress response (ISR). GCN2 is triggered by stalled ribosomes and uncharged tRNAs, which accumulate when amino acids are scarce. The ISR adjusts cellular physiology by promoting redox balance, protein quality control, and mitochondrial optimisation.

PFAS Forensics, Part 2: Analytical Tools and Data Analysis for Source Attribution
Abstract Successfully attributing per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination to specific sources may require employing advanced analytical techniques and interpreting complex multivariate datasets. This paper, the second in a series on PFAS forensics, presents some of the analytical and data analysis tools practitioners use to identify ...

A review of skin microbiome and new challenges to cosmetic microbiome‐friendly formulations
Microbiome‐friendly concepts offer new perspectives for a healthy relationship between cosmetic use and the skin microbiome, especially the interaction of non‐biotic cosmetic ingredients with the skin, requiring further studies to clarify the dynamics between the skin microbiome and different classes of cosmetic ingredients.
