ZnO‐Functionalized Silicon Carbide Ceramic Membranes for Removing Impurities From Biodiesel
Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membranes functionalized with zinc oxide (ZnO) were assessed for biodiesel purification through crossflow filtration. The ZnO–SiC membranes effectively retained metallic impurities, especially calcium, sodium, and phosphorus, achieving levels that meet biodiesel quality standards.

Methyl ester was produced from many sources of oil palm products, namely used frying oil, RBD palm oil, degummed and deacidified palm oil, palm stearin and superhard palm stearin.
