BIODIESEL PRODUCTION FROM PALM-KERNEL OIL

Study on Combustion Performance of Palm Oil Biodiesel Blend
The world today is adversely affected by the rapid growth of various industries which use fossil diesel fuel as a main source to power their respective industries. As such, these natural resources are increasingly reduced thus resulting in price increments.

Study on the characteristics of palm oil–biodiesel–diesel fuel blend
Palm oil/palm oil methyl esters are blends with diesel fuel, the blends were characterized as an alternative fuels for diesel engines. Density, kinematic viscosity, and flash point were estimated according to ASTM as key fuel properties.

Performance of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) as Biodiesel Source Based on Different Ponds
The purpose of this paper is to prove that waste palm oil industry (POME) can be used as raw material (source of energy) for biodiesel. In the production process, palm oil mill produced large amounts of waste.
