Understanding what Pan Genome is
The term Pangenome began to be used in 2005, and its meaning is complete from the Greek pan. It was first studied in bacteria and, in this context, the term refers to a central genome that contains the genes present in all strains, and a dispensable genome that is made up of genesabsent in one or more strains and genes that are exclusive.
