LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

The objectives of this analysis were to define the incidence, natural history, and predictors of neoplasia in pancreatic cysts to determine which patients can safely be observed and which should undergo an operation. With advancements in imaging technology, cystic lesions of the pancreas are being detected with increased frequency. Many of these lesions

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

Gastric Outlet Obstruction as the Initial Presentation of Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma
GOO is often the first sign of advanced upper gastrointestinal neoplasms. The most common neoplasms associated with GOO include gastric, pancreatic, and biliary tract cancers. Urinary tract urothelial carcinoma has been a rarely documented cause of GOO.

Solid Pseudopapillary Tumor of Pancreas in a 14-year-old Adolescent Presenting With Melena: A Case Report [PDF]
Background: The incidence of pancreatic neoplasms in infants and children is 1.8 cases per 1000000. Three of children’s most common primary pancreatic neoplasms are pancreatoblastoma, solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas, and pancreatic ...

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Consensus on the clinical diagnosis and treatment of grade 3 pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
The World Health Organization (WHO) 2017 classifications for neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) subdivided grade 3 pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (pNENs) into G3 well-differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (G3 pNETs) and poorly differentiated ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
