Acaricidal Properties of Spinosad Against Tetranychus urticae and Panonychus ulmi (Acari: Tetranychidae)

Journal of Economic Entomology, 2006
Laboratory bioassays were conducted to characterize the activity of the insecticide spinosad against the twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, and European red mite, Panonychus ulmi (Koch) (Acari: Tetranychidae). T. urticae females and larvae were individually placed on bean, Phaseolus vulgaris L.

Acaricidal action of two detergents against Panonychus ulmi (Koch) and Panonychus citri (Mcgregor) (Acarina: Tetranychidae) in the laboratory

Crop Protection, 2004
Abstract Two laboratory experiments using a leaf-dip technique evaluated the effect of two detergents, Quix and Nobla, on Panonychus ulmi and P . citri . Fenazaquin 0.01% a.i. was used on P . ulmi as a standard. Mortality increased with higher concentrations in both mite species. In addition, detergent treatments also dislodged P .

Spatio‐temporal distribution of Panonychus ulmi Koch (Acari, Tetranychidae) on Guyot‐trained grapevines

Journal of Applied Entomology, 1992
AbstractThe spatial and temporal distribution of the European red mite Panonychus ulmi (Koch) on mature grapevines (Vitis vinifera L.) was studied during the different phenological stages of the plants. P. ulmi showed circadian movements between the lower and upper surface of the leaf: in the morning, the mites were located preferably on the lower ...

[Biological control efficiency of Amblyseius cucumeris (Oudemans) on Panonychus ulmi (Koch)].

Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2011
Based on the life-table parameters and the release effects of Amblyseius cucumeris (Oudemans) under laboratory and field conditions, the control efficiency of A. cucumeris (Oudemans) on Panonychus ulmi (Koch) was evaluated. When feeding on P. ulmi, A. cucumeris could complete its development period and lay eggs with one generation time of 9.54 d at (25

Some observations on diapause in winter eggs of Panonychus ulmi (Koch) (Tetranychidae)

1991
Some observations are presented on factors influencing winter-egg laying density in autumn, and environmental requirements to break diapause of winter eggs in the European red mite, Panonychus ulmi (Koch), on apple. In our field trial, the presence of phytoseiid mites in the autumn had a decisive influence on the winter-egg density.
