Hydrogenation Reaction on Pd-Cu Bimetallic Catalysts: A Parahydrogen-Induced Polarization Study
Hydrogenation reaction of propyne on Pd-Cu bimetallic catalysts was studied using the heterogeneous parahydrogen-induced polarization (PHIP) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique.

Catalytic hydrogenation with parahydrogen: a bridge from homogeneous to heterogeneous catalysis
One of the essential themes in modern catalysis is that of bridging the gap between its homogeneous and heterogeneous counterparts to combine their individual advantages and overcome shortcomings.

MRI of Heterogeneous Hydrogenation Reactions Using Parahydrogen Polarization [PDF]
The power of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is its ability to image the internal structure of optically opaque samples and provide detailed maps of a variety of important parameters, such as density, diffusion, velocity and temperature. However, one of

A study on diffusion of H atoms in solid parahydrogen
Diffusion of hydrogen atoms in solid parahydrogen was investigated using high-resolution infrared spectroscopy. Hydrogen atoms were produced as by-products of a photoinduced reaction of nitric oxides embedded in solid parahydrogen.

Measurement of the weak nucleon-nucleon interaction by polarized cold neutron capture on protons
The NPDGamma Experiment at the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is measuring the parity-odd correlation between the neutron spin and the direction of the emitted photon in the capture of polarized cold neutrons on protons.

Overtone spectra of parahydrogen and orthodeuterium in the liquid phase
We report the results of our observations of liquid parahydrogen in the mid-infrared and of liquid parahydrogen and orthodeuterium in their first and second overtone regions using a Bruker IFS 120 HR Fourier transform spectrometer.

Current state of the art of analyte scope in urine metabolome analysis by non-hydrogenative PHIP
Non-hydrogenative PHIP (nh-PHIP) is an NMR signal enhancement technique that offers several orders of magnitude gains in detection sensitivity. It is one of the few hyperpolarization methods that have been demonstrated to be applicable to chemical ...

Formulation of a nonanalytic equation of state for parahydrogen
A method is described for building an equation of state which gives an infinite specific heat C v at the critical point approached from the one-phase domain. Interpolated PVT data are used on isochores up to 100 K at densities to the liquid triple point.
