Vibrio anguillarum infection in flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) fingerlings.
Fish Pathology, 1988 岡山および山口の両県において, 種苗生産過程のヒラメ(Paralichthys olivaceus)稚魚に, 体色の黒化と, 鰭膜の破損あるいは出血等を特徴とする疾病が発生した。原因菌としていずれも Vibrio anguillarum が分離されたが, 血清学的には岡山株は J-O-2 型に属したのに対し, 山口株は J-O-3 型に属した。岡山株および山口株とも分離菌株の病原性は腹腔内接種により確認されたが, 菌浴法ではヒラメ稚魚を死亡させなかった。したがって, ヒラメ稚魚の本菌に対する感受性は比較的低いと考えられた。
