Research on Modeling of Microgrid Based on Data Testing and Parameter Identification

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
The model parameter identification based on real operation data is a means to accurately determine the simulation parameters of the microgrid, but the real operation data cannot guarantee the exact agreement with the required data for parameter ...

On the problem of modeling for parameter identification in distributed structures [PDF]

open access: yes
Structures are often characterized by parameters, such as mass and stiffness, that are spatially distributed. Parameter identification of distributed structures is subject to many of the difficulties involved in the modeling problem, and the choice of ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Preemption of State Wildlife Law in Alaska: Where, When, and Why [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This report describes how parameter estimation can be performed in linear DAE systems. Both time domain and frequency domain identification are examined. The results are exemplified on a small system. A potential application for the algorithms is to make

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

A parameter identification problem in stochastic homogenization

open access: yesESAIM: Proceedings and Surveys, 2015
In porous media physics, calibrating model parameters through experiments is a challenge. This process is plagued with errors that come from modelling, measurement and computation of the macroscopic observables through random ...

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Improved niche genetic algorithm based parameter identification of excitation system considering parameter identifiability

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2018
In order to obtain the parameters of excitation system accurately, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of parameter identification much further, an improved niche genetic algorithm was adopted, which can overcome local convergence of genetic ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
