Parameter mismatches and oscillation death in coupled oscillators

Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2010
We use a set of qualitatively different models of coupled oscillators (genetic, membrane, Ca-metabolism, and chemical oscillators) to study dynamical regimes in the presence of small detuning. In particular, we focus on a distinct oscillation quenching mechanism, the oscillation death phenomenon.

A Model-Based Strategy With Robust Parameter Mismatch for Online HRC Diagnosis and Location in PMSM Drive System

IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2020
This article proposes a model-based strategy with robust parameter mismatch for online high resistance connection (HRC) diagnosis and localization in surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drive system.

Observer-Based Quasi-Synchronization of Delayed Dynamical Networks With Parameter Mismatch Under Impulsive Effect

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2020
This article focuses on the observer-based quasi-synchronization problem of delayed dynamical networks with parameter mismatch under impulsive effect. First, since the state of each node is unknown in the real situation, the state estimation strategy is ...

Controller designs for model-plant parameter mismatch

IEE Proceedings D Control Theory and Applications, 1988
A strategy of design for the controller and for a dynamic filter which compensates for disturbances is presented. The proposed algorithm has the robustness criteria which allows the controller to perform well under model uncertainties. The stability and dynamic performance of the control system is studied in relation to modelplant parameter mismatch ...

Comparative Study of Parameter Mismatch on Different Model Predictive Controls for PMSM Drives

2020 IEEE 9th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (IPEMC2020-ECCE Asia), 2020
Model predictive control (MPC) is known for its good dynamic performance, but the parameter mismatch issue has long been concerned. In order to help evaluating and improving the control performance of MPC, a comprehensive knowledge of the side-effects of

SYNCHRONIZATION CRITERIA FOR COUPLED CHAOTIC SYSTEMS WITH PARAMETER MISMATCHES

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2011
This paper studies synchronization between two linearly coupled non-autonomous chaotic systems with parameter mismatches. Based on Lyapunov's stability theory and Sylvester's criterion, some algebraic criteria are derived to synchronize the master and slave system with error bound.

Parameter mismatch estimation in a parallel interleaved ADC

2009 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2009
In this paper we propose a novel method for estimating the gain, DC offset and sample timing mismatches between component ADCs in a Parallel Interleaved ADC. We propose the use of a reference ADC, operating at a lower rate, that precludes the need for any calibration period. The reference ADC is clocked using a novel scheme to provide reference samples

Model‐system parameter mismatch in GPC control

International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, 1993
AbstractThis paper considers a linear discrete‐time system controlled by a GPC regulator. However the parameters and dynamic order of the system assumed for the regulator design differ from the true parameters. Hence there is a model‐system parameter mismatch.

A new 5-parameter MOS transistors mismatch model

ICECS'99. Proceedings of ICECS '99. 6th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.99EX357), 2003
A new 5-parameter MOS transistor mismatch model is introduced capable of predicting transistor mismatch with very high accuracy for ohmic and saturation strong inversion regions, including short channel transistors. The new model is based on splitting the contribution of the mobility degradation parameter mismatch into two components, and modulating ...
