Controller designs for model-plant parameter mismatch
IEE Proceedings D Control Theory and Applications, 1988A strategy of design for the controller and for a dynamic filter which compensates for disturbances is presented. The proposed algorithm has the robustness criteria which allows the controller to perform well under model uncertainties. The stability and dynamic performance of the control system is studied in relation to modelplant parameter mismatch ...

Impact of Mismatch on Microwave Power Dividers Parameters
2018 XIV International Scientific-Technical Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2018In the paper the impact of mismatch in microwave transmission lines on the parameters of power dividers is researched. Equations for evaluation of the difference in the power division factors in comparison with the matched mode are obtained. The analysis allows to establish the allowable requirements for the mismatch.

On Parameter Mismatch for Hidden Markov Models Applied to Indoor Localization
2020 IEEE 23rd International Conference on Information Fusion (FUSION), 2020Hidden Markov Chains (HMCs) and, more recently, Hidden semi-Markov Chains (HsMCs) have been used by several groups of researchers to provide a model for indoor localization. A homogeneous HMC is completely determined by the state initial probability vector and the state transition probability matrix.

Mismatch simulation for layout sensitive parameters of IC components and devices
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 1989A compact Monte-Carlo-based universal procedure is presented that allows the estimation and qualification of geometrical arrangements and matching strategies, especially in monolithic devices. On the basis of a simple circuit example, the general structure of the main algorithm is explained, and some extensions are discussed.

Nearest Neighbor Thermodynamic Parameters for Internal G·A Mismatches in DNA
Biochemistry, 1998Thermodynamics of 22 oligonucleotides with internal single G.A mismatches dissolved in 1 M NaCl were determined from absorbance versus temperature melting curves. These data, combined with five literature sequences, were used to derive nearest-neighbor thermodynamic parameters for seven linearly independent trimer sequences with internal G.A mismatches

Synchronization of a class of coupled chaotic delayed systems with parameter mismatch
Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, 2007In this paper, we study the effect of parameter mismatch on the synchronization of a class of coupled chaotic systems with time delays. In the presence of parameter mismatch, the delayed coupled chaotic systems are investigated in terms of the quasisynchronization.

Automatic Smith-predictor tuning using optimal parameter mismatch
IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2002The Smith-predictor is famous for its delay-free characteristic and suitable for regulating systems with an excessively long time delay. However, it is sensitive to plant parameter variations based on some frequency domain studies. In this paper, detailed analyzes of the system performance through parametric and temporal mismatch are investigated and ...

A Bound on Mean-Square Estimation Error With Background Parameter Mismatch
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2004In typical parameter estimation problems, the signal observation is a function of the parameter set to be estimated as well as some background (environmental/system) parameters assumed known. The assumed background could differ from the true one, leading to biased estimates even at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).

Weak projective lag synchronization of neural networks with parameter mismatch
Neural Computing and Applications, 2013This paper studies projective lag synchronization of coupled neural networks with time delay and parameter mismatch. An adaptive controller is designed to achieve weak projective lag synchronization of coupled neural networks. This method is employed to realize projective lag synchronization between coupled neural systems with an error level. Numerical
