This research integrated multi‐omics analysis of bone tissue from HLU and control mice revealed that mechanical unloading suppresses intrinsic apoptosis and augments glutamine (Gln) catabolism in osteoclast lineage cells. The findings highlight pivotal roles for SLC1A5‐mediated Gln metabolism and XIAP/Diablo axis‐mediated apoptosis suppression.

SLPI is a critical mediator that controls PTH-induced bone formation
The mechanism by which parathyroid hormone mediates the switch from bone resorption to bone formation is unclear. Here, the authors show that SLPI regulates the communication between osteoblasts and osteoclasts to promote the anabolic effect of ...

Artificial Intelligence for Bone: Theory, Methods, and Applications
Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) offer the potential to improve bone research. The current review explores the contributions of AI to pathological study, biomarker discovery, drug design, and clinical diagnosis and prognosis of bone diseases. We envision that AI‐driven methodologies will enable identifying novel targets for drugs discovery. The

Relapsed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Heralded by Parathyroid Hormone Related Peptide-Mediated Hypercalcemia. [PDF]
Recurrent chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) presenting with severe parathyroid hormone related peptide‐mediated hypercalcemia. Bone marrow and paravertebral biopsies confirmed relapse without evidence of Richter's transformation.

De Novo Heterozygous ZFX Frameshift Variant in a Female With an X‐Linked Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Germline ZFX variants are associated with an X‐linked neurodevelopmental disorder, with 14 males and 16 females reported to date. We describe a 20‐year‐old female with a heterozygous ZFX frameshift variant, p.(Met666Valfs*2), identified by genome sequencing, previously reported in an affected male.
