3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Incomplete lineage sorting and long-branch attraction confound phylogenomic inference of Pancrustacea

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and Evolution
IntroductionThe phylogenetic relationships within Pancrustacea (including Crustacea and Hexapoda) remain elusive despite analyses using various molecular data sets and analytical approaches over the past decade.

Metamaterial Antennas Enhance MRI of the Eye and Occipital Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A radiofrequency antenna platform comprising planar and bend configurations is developed, incorporating structurally integrated epsilon‐negative metamaterial unit cells to enhance MRI. These antennas enable high‐resolution in vivo human MRI of the eye, orbit, and occipital brain. Comprehensive validation, including simulations, phantom experiments, SAR,

Modeling an algorithm for overcoming complex conflicts of law norms: issues and solutions

open access: yesЮридический вестник Самарского университета
Earlier the author demonstrated the fundamental possibility of building a model of an algorithm for overcoming complex conflicts of law norms, or legal collisions, when three types of conflicts (hierarchical, substantive, and temporal) coincide, – a ...

2D Nanomaterials Toward Function‐Ready Superlubricity in Advanced Microsystems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A unified framework links structural and transformation superlubricity with microsystem functions and deployment requirements. Mechanisms, device architectures, integration strategies, AI‐guided discovery, and benchmarking protocols are connected to define function‐ready superlubricity in advanced microsystems.

Intrinsic Coordination Architecture Governing Selectivity Divergence Between Extended and Single‐Site Electrocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Catalyst coordination acts as a loaded dice biasing reaction selectivity. Single‐atom site catalysts lock intermediates in exposed configurations, enabling continued hydrogenation and favoring oxygen‐retaining products. In contrast, extended metal surfaces fully coordinate and shield reactive centers, promoting deoxygenation pathways. This work reveals

Ambiguity resolution for satellite Doppler positioning systems [PDF]

open access: yes
A test for ambiguity resolution was derived which was the most powerful in the sense that it maximized the probability of a correct decision. When systematic error sources were properly included in the least squares reduction process to yield an optimal ...

Rapid Initialization for Long Baseline RTK Positioning: Combined GPS+Galileo+BDS+QZSS+GLONASS with Partial Ambiguity Resolution

open access: yes2020 European Navigation Conference (ENC), 2020
Introducing atmospheric delays in the GNSS RTK positioning model significantly weakens the ambiguity resolution performance, causing for instance long times to reliably fix the ambiguities when differential ionospheric delays have to be estimated. In order to overcome this problem, the combination of two strategies is proposed in this paper: the joint ...
