Wavelet-Petrov-Galerkin Method for the Numerical Solution of the KdV Equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The development of numerical techniques for obtaining approximate solutions of partial differential equations has very much increased in the last decades. Among these techniques are the finite element methods and finite difference.

Fast finite difference solvers for singular solutions of the elliptic Monge-Amp\`ere equation

open access: yes, 2010
The elliptic Monge-Ampere equation is a fully nonlinear Partial Differential Equation which originated in geometric surface theory, and has been applied in dynamic meteorology, elasticity, geometric optics, image processing and image registration ...

On solutions of certain compatible systems of quadratic trinomial Partial differential-difference equations

open access: yesMatematychni Studii
This paper has involved the use of a variety of variations of the Fermat-type equation $f^n(z)+g^n(z)=1$, where $n(\geq 2)\in\mathbb{N}$. Many researchers have demonstrated a keen interest to investigate the Fermat-type equations for entire and meromorphic solutions of several complex variables over the past two decades.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

TRANSCENDENTAL ENTIRE SOLUTIONS OF COMPLEX NONLINEAR PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS IN C^2

open access: yesPoincare Journal of Analysis and Applications
Summary: In this paper, we explore the existence and forms of transcendental entire solutions of some second order partial differential-difference equations \[ f(z)^2+2\alpha f(z)\{L(z,f)+P_{L(f(z))}\}+\{L(z,f)+P_{L(f(z))}\}^2=e^{g(z)}, \] \[ f(z)^2+2\alpha f(z)\{a_1f(z+c)+P_{L(f(z+c))}\}+\{a_1f(z+c)+P_{L(f(z+c))}\}^2=e^{g(z)}, \] and \[ P^2_{L(f(z ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Formal diagonalisation of Lax-Darboux schemes

open access: yes, 2015
We discuss the concept of Lax-Darboux scheme and illustrate it on well known examples associated with the Nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation. We explore the Darboux links of the NLS hierarchy with the hierarchy of Heisenberg model, principal chiral ...

Forms of entire solutions of partial differential difference equations with constant coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
The purpose of this article is to describe the transcendental entire solutions of  quadratic trinomial partial differential equations (PDDEs) with constant coefficients.  We establish  theorems on the forms of finite order transcendental entire  solutions for such PDDEs, which generalize and improve previous theorems.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
