This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Uniform exponential stability of linear periodic systems in a Banach space
This article is devoted to the study of linear periodic dynamical systems, possessing the property of uniform exponential stability. It is proved that if the Cauchy operator of these systems possesses a certain compactness property, then the asymptotic ...

On some properties of a system of nonlinear partial functional differential equations
We consider a system of a semilinear hyperbolic functional differential equation (where the lower order terms contain functional dependence on the unknown function) with initial and boundary conditions and a quasilinear elliptic functional differential ...

Almost automorphic solutions for some partial functional differential equations
This interesting paper deals with the existence of almost automorphic solutions for the following partial functional differential equation \[ \begin{aligned} \frac{d}{dt} u(t)&=Au(t)+L(u_t)+f(t),\;t\geq 0,\\ u_0&=\varphi\in C([-r,0];X), \end{aligned}\tag{1} \] where \(A\) is a linear operator on a Banach space \(X\) not necessarily densely defined and ...

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Legendre-Tau approximations for functional differential equations [PDF]
The numerical approximation of solutions to linear functional differential equations are considered using the so called Legendre tau method. The functional differential equation is first reformulated as a partial differential equation with a nonlocal ...

5‐Aminolevulinic acid combined with ferric ammonium citrate (5‐ALA/FAC) stimulates dermal papilla cell activity and promotes hair follicle growth. The treatment enhances ERK and AKT signaling, increases hair‐inductive gene expression, and restores dermal papilla function suppressed by dihydrotestosterone and oxidative stress, resulting in enhanced hair

Background. The problem of evaluation of the special (singular) solutions of Clairaut-type partial differential equations attracts a lot of interest studying various transformations of nonlinear equations of mathematical physics, for example, Legendre

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
