Partial Hepatectomy in Caroli's Disease

Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, 1981
A patient with congenital cystic dilatation of the bile duct (Caroli's disease) is described. The diagnosis was obtained after endoscopic retrograde cholangiography. Owing to monolobar localization of the disease, the patient was successfully treated with partial resection.

Computed Tomography After Partial Hepatectomy

Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, 1984
Twenty-two patients with surgically resectable malignant primary liver neoplasm or hepatic metastases were examined by computed tomography both before and after surgery. The anatomic modifications created by the surgery, including right lobectomy, left lobectomy, segmentectomy, and wedge resections were evaluated.

Robotic Partial Hepatectomy

2018
Minimally invasive liver resection has been adopted as the standard of care for peripheral hepatic lesions. While many surgeons are comfortable with left lateral sectionectomies and with laparoscopic wedge resections in peripheral segments, more major resections are less often attempted as minimally invasive (MIS).

Partial Hepatectomy for Metastatic Carcinoma

Hospital Practice, 1976
Three years after colonic resection for a rectal carcinoma, the patient evinced some weight loss and alkaline phosphatase elevation. Detailed workup revealed what appeared to be a solitary, well-defined metastatic lesion of the right hepatic lobe.

Mitochondrial oxidative alterations following partial hepatectomy

Free Radical Biology and Medicine, 1999
Mitochondria, isolated from rat livers during the early phase of liver regeneration (7-24 h after partial hepatectomy), show: (i) decrease in the rate of ATP synthesis; (ii) increase of malondialdehyde and of oxidized protein production; (iii) decrease of the content of intramitochondrial glutathione and of protein thiols on mitochondrial proteins; (iv)

Laparoscopic partial hepatectomy.

Hepato-gastroenterology, 1998
This article describes the surgical techniques and indications of laparoscopic partial hepatectomy, which is not as widely available as laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Three patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and associated severe liver cirrhosis were candidates for this technique from July 1993 to August 1994. The tumor size was 4 cm or less and all

Delayed recovery following laparoscopic partial hepatectomy

European Journal of Anaesthesiology, 2012
We present a 42-year-old woman with unexpected coma after laparoscopic partial hepatectomy. MRI demonstrated ischaemic cerebral lesions. Further investigation revealed a patent foramen ovale. Cryptogenic stroke arising from a paradoxical carbon dioxide embolism was diagnosed.

EGF responsiveness of hepatocytes after partial hepatectomy

Cellular Signalling, 1996
We investigate the effect of EGF on IP3 production, PLC gamma phosphorylation, calcium transients in rat hepatocytes isolated in quiescent liver (G0 phase of cell cycle) and at 4 h (G1 phase of cell cycle) and 24 h (M phase of cell cycle) after partial hepatectomy.
