Extrapolation techniques for first order hyperbolic partial differential equations
A uniform grid of step size h is superimposed on the space variable x in the first order hyperbolic partial differential equation ∂u/∂t + a ∂u/∂x = 0 (a > 0, x > 0, t > 0).

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Calculating the precondition of a particular partial-ordered set of events is often necessary in software testing, such as for generating test cases. Things become even more complicated when the execution time is added to the picture.

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

On Integration in Partially Ordered Groups
M. Sion and T. Traynor investigated ([15]-[17]), measures and integrals having values in topological groups or semigroups. Their definition of integrability was a modification of Phillips-Rickart bilinear vector integrals, in locally convex topological vector spaces. The purpose of this paper is to develop a good notion of an integration process in ...

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Supervising Offline Partial Evaluation of Logic Programs using Online Techniques
A major impediment for more widespread use of offline partial evaluation is the difficulty of obtaining and maintaining annotations for larger, realistic programs.

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.
