Effect of β-actinin on the particle length of F-actin

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Biophysics including Photosynthesis, 1966
Abstract The binding of β-actinin, the actin-dispersing factor, to F-actin has been investigated. The stoichiometric ratios for the binding of β-actinin to F-actin were found to be 1:10 and 1:8, by weight, for intact and sonicated F-actin, respectively.

Reducing Particle Length Variation for Forage Harvesters

Transactions of the ASAE, 1983
ABSTRACT A25 factorial design was used to evaluate the effects of various machine parameters on the mean particle length of material produced by forage harvesters. The variables studied were compression pressure on forage material, clearance distance between knife and shear bar, feeding depth, mat length, and number of knives on the cutterhead.

Deep Learning-Based Binocular Image Analysis for In Situ Measurement of Particle Length Distribution During Crystallization Process

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2023
To resolve the challenge of measuring particle length distribution (PLD) during the crystallization process via image analysis, a novel in situ measurement method with deep learning-based binocular image analysis is proposed in this article.
