Higgs portal dark matter freeze-in at stronger coupling: observational benchmarks
We study freeze-in production of Higgs portal dark matter (DM) at temperatures far below the dark matter mass. The temperature of the Standard Model (SM) thermal bath may have never been high such that dark matter production via thermal emission has been

Secluded dark matter in gauged B − L model
We consider the gauged B − L model which is extended with a secluded dark sector, comprising of two dark sector particles. In this framework the lightest Z $$ \mathcal{Z} $$ 2-odd particle is the dark matter candidate, having a feeble interaction with ...

We investigate the production of non-thermal fermionic dark matter particles during the reheating era following slow roll inflation, driven by inflaton $φ$ non-minimally coupled to the curvature scalar, $\mathcal{R}$. Two types of non-minimal couplings are considered: $ξφ^2\cal{R}$ for both natural (referred to as NM-N) and for Coleman-Weinberg ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

The quintuplet annihilation spectrum
We extend the Effective Field Theory of Heavy Dark Matter to arbitrary odd representations of SU(2) and incorporate the effects of bound states. This formalism is then deployed to compute the gamma-ray spectrum for a 5 of SU(2): quintuplet dark matter ...

Strong gravitational lensing has been identified as a promising astrophysical probe to study the particle nature of dark matter. In this paper we present a detailed study of the power spectrum of the projected mass density (convergence) field of ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Thermoreflectance Detection of Point Defects Resulting from Focused Ion Beam Milling
Focused ion beam (FIB) milling is a common tool for nanoscale material processing, however irradiation damage, redeposition, and contamination can occur. We use several characterization tools to show FIB‐induced effects beyond 1 mm from the milled area.

Conformal freeze-in from neutrino portal
We study a scenario where a dark sector, described by a Conformal Field Theory (CFT), interacts with the Standard Model through the neutrino portal. In this setup, conformal invariance breaks below the electroweak scale, causing the theory to transition ...

Freezing-in hadrophilic dark matter at low reheating temperatures
If the reheating temperature at the end of inflation is low, of order 10 MeV, then dark matter produced through ultraviolet freeze-in has a large direct detection cross section. We study such a scenario in which dark matter is hadrophilic.
