Analysis of Tooth Contact of Speed Integration Gear with Assembly Error
The speed integration gear is a new type of gear mechanism, which is meshed with cylindrical gears and non-circular face gear and can achieve speed integration transmission. Based on gear mesh theory, the tooth surface equation of non-circular face gear is

Influence of an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere on Diamond‐Single‐Grain Scratching of Ti–6Al–4V
Single‐grain scratching of Ti–6Al–4V is investigated under controlled, oxygen‐free, and ambient atmospheres using a novel experimental setup with in situ high‐speed imaging. The approach enables direct observation of chip formation and adhesion under suppressed oxidation.

Tooth Surface Contact Analysis of the Face Gear Pair Involving the Worm Wheel Installation Error
The actual tooth surface equation is established considering the worm wheel installation errors based on a five- axis linked CNC grinding machine. The tooth contact analysis( TCA analysis) on the actual tooth surface of face gear and pinion tooth surface

Numerical modelling of crack path in the lubricated rolling–sliding contact problems
Abstract A two-dimensional computational model for simulation of contact fatigue of lubricated rolling–sliding contact problems is presented. In the model it is assumed that the initial crack of length 0.02 mm is initiated at the surface due to previous mechanical or heat treatment of the material as well as a consequence of running process in an ...

This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.

Phonon-drag induced suppression of the Andreev hole current in superconducting niobium contacts
We have investigated how the Andreev-reflection hole current at ballistic point contacts responds to a large bias voltage. Its strong suppression could be explained by the drag excerted by the non-equilibrium phonon wind generated by high-energy ...

Through direct application of porous transport layer (PTL) on the bipolar plate (BPP) with thermal spraying, the interfacial contact resistance is improved. With the cold gas sprayed BPP–PTL coating system, a proton exchange membrane water electrolysis cell with a cell voltage of Ucell = 1.9 V can be operated up to i = 2.5 A/cm2 in a dynamic mode ...
