Multi-Kernel Online Reinforcement Learning for Path Tracking Control of Intelligent Vehicles
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2021Path tracking control of intelligent vehicles has to deal with the difficulties of model uncertainties and nonlinearities. As a class of adaptive optimal control methods, reinforcement learning (RL) has received increasing attention in solving difficult ...

Integral backstepping controller for quadrotor path tracking
2015 International Conference on Advanced Robotics (ICAR), 2015An integral backstepping control algorithm is presented for the path tracking problem of a quadrotor in this work. The dynamical model of a quadrotor is represented based on unit quaternion representation and includes some modelled aerodynamical effects as a nonlinear part.

Vehicle path tracking by integrated chassis control
Journal of Central South University, 2015The control problem of trajectory based path following for passenger vehicles is studied. Comprehensive nonlinear vehicle model is utilized for simulation vehicle response during various maneuvers in MATLAB/Simulink. In order to follow desired path, a driver model is developed to enhance closed loop driver/vehicle model.

Spatial path tracking using iterative learning control
2016 IEEE 55th Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2016This paper proposes a novel control methodology to enable accurate tracking of a path profile defined in output space. No temporal requirement is specified on this movement a priori, and the proposed framework enforces path tracking while minimizing an additional objective function.

Path Tracking Controllers for Fast Skidding Rover
2016This article presents a comparative analysis between two new path tracking controllers, a linear and non-linear one. First, dynamic model of the vehicle moving on a horizontal plane is developed and validated with the experimental platform Spido. Then, to reduce the complexity, the model is linearized by assuming that the side slip angles remain small ...

Path tracking control of a manipulator considering torque saturation
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 1994When the minimum-time trajectory of a manipulator along a geometrically prescribed path is planned taking into consideration the manipulator's dynamics and actuator's torque limits, at least one of the joints should be at the torque limit. The execution of such a trajectory by a conventional feedback control scheme results in torque saturation ...

Tracked Robot over a Slope Path: Dynamic Stability Control
2016 IEEE 17th International Conference on Information Reuse and Integration (IRI), 2016Tracked robots are becoming more and more useful in a wide range of contexts, such as transport, industry and agriculture. However, their main drawbacks are due to the lack of accuracy, especially when they are equipped with sensors. For such reasons, in this paper we present a concrete application of the tracked robots within the agricultural context.
