Pathotypes of the Pinewood Nematode Bursaphelenchus xylophilus.
An isolate of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus from Pinus sylvestris in Missouri infected and reproduced in 2-3-year-old seedlings of P. sylvestris and to some extent in seedlings of P. nigra. Wilting, however, occurred only in P. sylvestris. B. xylophilus isolated from P. strobus in Vermont infected and reproduced only in P. strobus seedlings. P.

Electrophoretic karyotype variation among pathotypes of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. dianthi
Karyotype analysis by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis was applied to characterize isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. dianthi, the causal agent of Fusarium wilt on carnation.

Variation in virulence and aggressiveness among pathotypes of Sclerospora graminicola on pearl millet [PDF]
Five pathotypes of S. graminicola, specific to Pennisetum glaucum genotypes, were evaluated for virulence (a qualitative measure of the relative capacity of an isolate to infect a host genotype), aggressiveness (a quantitative measure of the infection ...
