Inverse Lithography Technology (ILT) Under Chip Manufacture Context

open access: yesMicromachines
As semiconductor process nodes shrink to 3 nm and beyond, traditional optical proximity correction (OPC) and resolution enhancement technologies (RETs) can no longer meet the high patterning precision needs of advanced chip manufacturing due to the sub ...

Site fidelity, size, and morphology may differ by tidal position for an intertidal fish, Bathygobius cocosensis (Perciformes-Gobiidae), in Eastern Australia [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ, 2016
The intertidal zone is a transitional environment that undergoes daily environmental fluctuations as tides rise and fall. Relatively few fish species are adapted to endure the physiological pressures of this environment. This study focused on Bathygobius

PATTERN-TRANSFER FIDELITY IN SOFT LITHOGRAPHY: THE ROLE OF PATTERN DENSITY AND ASPECT RATIO

open access: yes, 2019
Using high-aspect-ratio nanostructures fabricated via two-photon laser-scanning lithography, we examine the deformation of elastomeric stamps used in soft nanolithography and the fidelity of patterns and replicas made using these stamps. Two-photon laser-

Patterning Defect Study for Process Integration Engineering Using Pattern Fidelity Monitoring with Review SEM Images

open access: yesJournal of Microelectronic Manufacturing, 2019
Normally the optical wafer inspection tools are used for advanced process control in high volume manufacturing of semiconductor devices. The SEM Review is done for limited sample of inspection defects to do defect based process characterization.

Spatial and temporal distribution of Gymnorhamphichthys rondoni (Gymnotiformes: Rhamphichthyidae) in a long-term study of an Amazonian terra firme stream, Leticia - Colombia [PDF]

open access: yesNeotropical Ichthyology, 2019
Weakly electric fishes continually emit electric organ discharges (EOD) as a means of communication and localization of objects in their surroundings.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

There-reality : selective rendering in high fidelity virtual environments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
There-reality environments are those virtual environments which evoke the same perceptual response from a viewer as if they were actually present, or there, in the real scene being depicted.

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

High-fidelity patterning of AlN and ScAlN thin films with wet chemical etching

open access: yesMaterialia, 2022
We report on the anisotropic wet etching of sputtered AlN and Sc0.2Al0.8N thin films. With tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide at 80 °C, the etch rates along the c-axis were 330 and 30 nm/s for AlN and Sc0.2Al0.8N, respectively. Although the etching was anisotropic, significant lateral etching below the mask occurred, perpendicular to the c-axis.

Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.
