Expression of toll-like receptors (tlrs) in the equine peripheral blood mononuclear cells (pbmcs) during the early pregnancy and estrous cycle [PDF]

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Veterinary Sciences
Aim: Practical, reliable and economical pregnancy diagnosis method for as early as possible time of pregnancy in mares is still requirement. Immune tolerance against allogenic fetus is critically important during the early pregnancy.

Repertoire analysis of memory T‐cell receptors in Japanese patients with inflammatory bowel disease

open access: yesJGH Open, 2020
Background and Aim The T‐cell receptor (TCR) repertoire was assessed in response to various antigens and was considered to be associated with the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

A 3D Human Bone and Bone Marrow‐on‐a‐Chip Model for In Vitro Bone Remodeling and Immune Cell Maintenance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a human Bone (and Bone Marrow)‐on‐a‐Chip model based on native human bone scaffolds and autologous cells. Dynamic perfusion and sequential cell seeding replicate the physiological bone remodeling process in vitro, enabling the long‐term culture of functional, mature bone marrow immune subpopulations.

Tumor‐Derived LAMB3 Drives Immunosuppressive LRRC15+ Fibroblast Formation During Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

beta-Glucan Increases IFN-gamma and IL-12 Production of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells with/without Induction of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Wild-type/Mutant DNA

open access: yesIndonesian Biomedical Journal, 2019
BACKGROUND: In tuberculosis infections, the immune system is weakened and cannot produce enough cytokines to against the infection. b-glucan is a potent immunomodulator that induces cytokine production in various bacterial infections. This study aimed to

Perforin Secreting Cells from PBMCs.

open access: yes, 2013
PBMCs were analyzed by ELISPOT as in Fig. 2, but in this case were stained for perforin production. A) Perforin secreting cells from individual animals. B) Mean perforin secreting cells from each group.

Mitochondrial Dysfunction Unravels the Potential Molecular Link Between Night Shift Work‐Related Circadian Disruption and Elevated Blood Pressure in Human and Mouse Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This diagram illustrates that night shift work disrupts circadian clock genes (like CLOCK, BMAL1) in both humans and mice. This disruption leads to mitochondrial dysfunction (imbalanced fusion/fission proteins) and increased oxidative stress, which is identified as the primary mechanism ultimately causing elevated blood pressure.

Proliferation of PBMCs after stimulation.

open access: yes, 2016
Bovine PBMCs were labeled with CFSE before stimulation with FTA alone, BVDV alone or BVDV plus FTA, and were assessed for their ability to proliferate at 72 (A)and 96 h (B) later by flow cytometry.

Disruption of Treg Homeostasis in Rheumatoid Arthritis via Ferroptosis‐Mediated ETC Collapse and TXK‐STAT3/PLCγ1 Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.
