Application and Analysis of a Composite Sampling Strategy to Cost-Effectively Compare Nutritive Characteristics of Perennial Ryegrass Cultivars in Field Trials

open access: yesAgronomy, 2020
Pasture nutritive value is economically important in south-eastern Australian dairy production systems, yet measurement of nutritive characteristics in pasture cultivar evaluation trials is not routinely undertaken, primarily due to cost.

Flow of Elastoviscous Nanofluid Through an Elongating Surface With Dissipative Heat: A Confluent Hypergeometric Solution

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Thermal energy transport likely through polymer extrusion, cooling of metallic plates, and chemical processing equipment relating to the flow of viscoelastic nanofluid has a greater role in engineering because of its elastic characteristics.

Differential regulation of TNF-α and IL-1β production from endotoxin stimulated human monocytes by phosphodiesterase inhibitors

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, 1992
The effect of selective PDE-I (vinpocetine), PDE-III (milrinone, CI-930), PDE-IV (rolipram, nitroquazone), and PDE-V (zaprinast) isozyme inhibitors on TNF-α and IL-1β production from LPS stimulated human monocytes was investigated.

Bioconvection Darcy–Forchheimer Flow of Ree‐Eyring Nanofluid Over a Riga Plate With Arrhenius Activation Energy and Viscous Dissipation

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This work examines the intricate interactions of heat radiation, viscous dissipation, the Cattaneo–Christov thermal model, gyrotactic microorganisms, Arrhenius activation energy, and Darcy–Forchheimer flow affecting Ree‐Eyring nanofluid behavior across a Riga plate.

Stochastic flows approach to Dupire's formula [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The probabilistic equivalent formulation of Dupire's PDE is the Put-Call duality equality. In local volatility models including exponential L\'{e}vy jumps, we give a direct probabilistic proof for this result based on stochastic flows arguments.

Rough stochastic PDEs

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, 2011
In this article, we show how the theory of rough paths can be used to provide a notion of solution to a class of nonlinear stochastic PDEs of Burgers type that exhibit too high spatial roughness for classical analytical methods to apply. In fact, the class of SPDEs that we consider is genuinely ill-posed in the sense that different approximations to ...

Bioconvective Chemically Reactive Radiative Squeezing Flow of a Casson Hybrid Nanofluid Between Two Parallel Plates Under Variable Viscosity

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hybrid nanofluids, known for their superior thermal and electrical conductivity, have demonstrated remarkable potential in enhancing the heat transfer capability of conventional base fluids. This study analyzes the effects of viscous dissipation and heat radiation on two‐dimensional unsteady incompressible squeezing flow transporting hybrid ...

Surface Binding Energy Landscapes Affect Phosphodiesterase Isoform-Specific Inhibitor Selectivity

open access: yesComputational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, 2019
As human phosphodiesterase (PDE) proteins are attractive drug targets, a large number of selective PDE inhibitors have been developed. However, since the catalytic sites of PDE isoforms are conserved in sequence and structure, it remains unclear how ...

Two‐Phase Nanofluid Flow in a Non‐Newtonian Model Past a Deformable Sheet With Magnetized Environmental Effects: Statistical Modeling and ANOVA Analysis

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper presents a comprehensive numerical analysis of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Casson nanofluid movement over a permeable, linearly stretching sheet, integrating the contributions of non‐uniform heat generation or absorption and chemical interaction.
