Molecular Identification of Prune Dwarf Virus (PDV) Infecting Sweet Cherry in Canada and Development of a PDV Full-Length Infectious cDNA Clone

open access: yesViruses, 2021
Prune dwarf virus (PDV) is a member of ilarviruses that infects stone fruit species such as cherry, plum and peach, and ornamentally grown trees worldwide. The virus lacks an RNA silencing suppressor. Infection by PDV either alone, or its mixed infection

Modifications in Tissue and Cell Ultrastructure as Elements of Immunity-Like Reaction in Chenopodium quinoa against Prune Dwarf Virus (PDV)

open access: yesCells, 2020
Prune dwarf virus (PDV) is a plant RNA viral pathogen in many orchard trees worldwide. Our knowledge about resistance genes or resistant reactions of plant hosts to PDV is scant.

PDV: an integrative proteomics data viewer [PDF]

open access: yesBioinformatics, 2018
Abstract Summary Data visualization plays critical roles in proteomics studies, ranging from quality control of MS/MS data to validation of peptide identification results. Herein, we present PDV, an integrative proteomics data viewer that can be used to visualize a wide range of proteomics data ...

Simultaneous green and infrared PDV [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2020
We have developed a fiber photon Doppler velocimetry (PDV) system that operates at 532nm, i.e., Green PDV. The fringe constant, or # fringes/change in position, is three times higher than in traditional PDV, which is implemented with 1550 nm lasers. Because of that, we expect approximately three times better velocity resolution in the new system.

Time-lens photon Doppler velocimetry (TL-PDV). [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments, 2021
We describe a time lens (TL) to expand the dynamic range of photon Doppler velocimetry (PDV) systems. The principle and preliminary design of a TL-PDV system are explained and shown to be feasible through simulations.

Dynamic Texture Recognition Using PDV Hashing and Dictionary Learning on Multi-Scale Volume Local Binary Pattern [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2021
Spatial-temporal local binary pattern (STLBP) has been widely used in dynamic texture recognition. STLBP often encounters the high-dimension problem as its dimension increases exponentially, so that STLBP could only utilize a small neighborhood.

Extreme measurements with Photonic Doppler Velocimetry (PDV).

open access: yesReview of Scientific Instruments, 2020
Photonic Doppler Velocimetry (PDV) is a fiber-based diagnostic for the extreme conditions created by high-speed impact, explosive detonation, electrical pulsed power, and intense laser ablation.

Serological and molecular detection of Prune dwarf virus infecting stone fruits of Charmahal-va-Bakhtiari province, a central region of Iran

open access: yesInternational Journal of Plant Biology, 2013
Prune dwarf virus (PDV) is one of the major positive RNA viruses which cause economical damages in stone fruit trees. The symptoms of PDV vary between different stone fruits namely sour and sweet cherry, almond, peach, apricot and plum including leaf ...

Whole Genome Characterization of Prunus Necrotic Ringspot Virus and Prune Dwarf Virus Infecting Stone Fruits in Russia

open access: yesHorticulturae, 2023
We conducted a survey of the phytosanitary status of the Prunus germplasm collection in the Nikita Botanical Gardens, Yalta, Russia. The virome of plants displaying virus-like symptoms was studied using Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing.

Interactions of Plum pox virus strain Rec with Apple chlorotic leafspot virus and Prune dwarf viruses in field-grown transgenic plum Prunus domestica L., clone C5

open access: yesPlant Protection Science, 2008
Transgenic plums, Prunus domestica L. clone C5, were inoculated by bud grafting with Plum pox virus (PPV-Rec, recombinant strain originated from plum), PPV-Rec + Apple chlorotic leafspot virus (ACLSV), PPV-Rec + Prune dwarf virus (PDV), and PPV-Rec ...
