We present a novel rendering algorithm that analyses the ray profiles along the line of sight. The profiles are subdivided according to encountered peaks and valleys at so called transition points. The sensitivity of these transition points is calibrated via two thresholds.

Facial resurfacing is a fundamental part of rejuvenation but it is often ignored because of the perceived difficulty. Lasers are an option, but they have proved inadequate for difficult rhytids (ie, perioral) both in quality and longevity. Croton oil peels can give excellent results with remarkable permanence. The misconception of danger and difficulty

The spectrum of chemical peeling encompasses a diverse group of peeling agents with the ability to produce a wide range of cutaneous burns. The most spectacular peels are produced by the phenol formulas. The physician, however, is restricted in the number of potential candidates as determined by skin color and potential toxicity.
