ABSTRACT The present study examined Beus et al.'s group‐based climate‐congruence theory in the context of 670 establishments of a national retailer. The theory proposes that climate‐outcome relationships can be influenced by contextual conditions such as industry and national culture.

A Decade of Airborne Electromagnetic Surveying Lake Menindee (Australia) Under Varying Water Levels
ABSTRACT Time domain airborne electromagnetic (AEM) surveying is a mature geophysical tool for imaging the Earth's shallow subsurface. It produces images of the electromagnetic conductivity structure of the earth, down to depths of a few hundred metres.

Pythagorean triangles of equal areas
The main intent in this paper is to find triples of Rational Pythagorean Triangles (abbr. RPT) having equal areas. A new method of solving a2+ab+b2=c2 is to set a=y−1, b=y+1, y∈N−{0,1} and get Pell's equation c2−3y2=1. To solve a2−ab−b2=c2, we set a=12(y+

Continued Fractions and Linear Fractional Transformations
Rational approximations to a square root $\sqrt{k}$ can be produced by iterating the transformation $f(x) = (dx+k)/(x+d)$ starting from $\infty$ for any positive integer $d$.

Mother tongue instruction as a sticky object: The making of a register of denunciation
Abstract This article examines the making of a political register to denounce mother tongue instruction (MTI) in Sweden. Nationally mandated since 1977, MTI is a state‐sponsored, curriculum‐stipulated subject for minority pupils of over 187 languages other than Swedish.

Beyond Expansion IV: Traces of Thin Semigroups
Beyond Expansion IV: Traces of Thin Semigroups, Discrete Analysis 2018:6, 27 pp. This is the fourth in a series of papers by Bourgain and Kontorovich that study the arithmetic properties of groups and semigroups of 2-by-2 integer matrices.

Advancing Systemic Risk Assessment for Complex, Interdependent Systems: A Research Agenda
ABSTRACT Engineering risk assessment has traditionally focused on direct impacts to individual assets or systems. However, as society's most notable risks increasingly stem from complex, interdependent systems, conventional methods fail to capture the cascading consequences and deepening uncertainty. Addressing this gap requires developing or extending

Quartic integral polynomial Pell equations
In this paper we classify all monic, quartic, polynomials $d(x)\in\mathbb{Z}[x]$ for which the Pell equation $$f(x)^2-d(x)g(x)^2=1$$ has a non-trivial solution with $f(x),g(x)\in\mathbb{Z}[x]$.

Underwater Hunting in an Arboreal Snake: Predation Notes on Amazonian Frog Larvae
We report novel underwater hunting behaviour in a canopy‐dwelling species of snake, the Common Green Racer (Chlorosoma viridissimum). The snake is seen diving and foraging in phytotelmata (water‐filled tree holes), feeding on tadpoles of treefrogs (Trachycephalus resinifictrix, T. hadroceps, and Osteocephalus oophagus). These findings contribute to our
