Comparison of penile length at 6–24 months between children with unilateral cryptorchidism and a healthy normal cohort [PDF]
Purpose: Urologic diseases affected by testosterone can be associated with smaller penis size compared to the normal population. We sought to compare penile length in children with unilateral cryptorchidism and normative data from a cohort of healthy ...

Biologically Active Implants Prevent Mortality in a Mouse Sepsis Model
A modular, triple‐action titanium implant is developed to prevent implant‐associated infections by repelling bacteria, killing pathogens, and enhancing tissue integration. Coatings with phage cocktails targeting P. aeruginosa and S. aureus show significant bacterial reduction and improved survival in a mouse sepsis model.

Meta‐chemical surfaces for portable electrochemical sensors are developed using the DPN method. Sensitivity is influenced by the exposed surface, pattern pitch, and binding strength between the ligand and cations. Therefore, it can be regulated by altering these parameters, which is a significant result in the heavy‐metal sensor field.

This review focuses on the application of synthetic biodegradable microarray patches (MAPs) in sustained drug delivery. Compared to conventional MAPs which release drugs into the skin in an immediate manner, these implantable MAPs release drugs into skin microcirculation gradually as the biodegradable polymers degrade, thus offering sustained release ...
