Preparation of pentamethylcyclopentadienyl-dialkylnitrosyliron complexes
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1985Abstract The dimer [(CH 3 ) 5 C 5 Fe(NO)] 2 has been prepared by octane reflux of [(CH 3 ) 5 C 5 Fe(CO) 2 ] 2 under a NO atmosphere. Oxidative cleavage of the dimer with iodine yields (CH 3 ) 5 C 5 Fe(NO)I 2 . Alkylation with two equivalents of RLi or RMgX (R = CH 3 , CH 2 C 6 H 5 , or CH 2 SC 6 H 5 ) leads to the dialkyl derivatives in good ...

Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl Aminoborole Complexes of Hafnium
1997The tricyclophosphate ligand, (P₃O₉)³⁻, was investigated as an oxidation resistant ligand for ruthenium chemistry. The silver salt of tricyclophosphate, Ag₃(P₃O₉).H₂O, was found to be a useful synthon in the preparation of organic soluble tricyclophosphate salts. The complex [(P₃O₉)Ru(C₆H₆)]⁻ was prepared and characterized.
