Energy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.Integration of a steam cycle with an existing gas turbine increased efficiency from 32% to 51%, reducing fuel consumption by 21.4% and CO2 emissions by 18.6%. The modification generated USD 13.9 million annual savings and lowered the Levelized Cost of Energy to 38.7 USD/MWh, with a 3‐year payback.

Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, EarlyView.A general palladium‐catalyzed Sonogashira cross‐coupling of (hetero)aryl chlorides with aliphatic, (hetero)aryl alkynes is described using Pd(dba)₂/PCy2‐Napdole‐phos catalyst system. The reaction protocol exhibits broad substrate scope and the catalyst loading can be down to 0.2 mol% Pd.
