Organophosphide: Eine neue Klasse der Luminophorliganden für Kupfer(I)‐Carben‐basierte TADF‐Emitter und Photokatalysatoren

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

A General Route to Bicyclo[1.1.1]pentanes through Photoredox Catalysis

open access: yesACS Catalysis, 2019
Photoredox catalysis has transformed the landscape of radical-based synthetic chemistry. Additions of radicals generated through photoredox catalysis to carbon–carbon π-bonds are well-established; however, this approach has yet to be applied to the ...

Convective transport and scavenging of peroxides by thunderstorms observed over the central U.S. during DC3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
One of the objectives of the Deep Convective Clouds and Chemistry (DC3) field experiment was to determine the scavenging of soluble trace gases by thunderstorms.

Iridium-Catalyzed Enantioselective Synthesis of α-Chiral Bicyclo[1.1.1]pentanes by 1,3-Difunctionalization of [1.1.1]Propellane.

open access: yesOrganic Letters, 2020
Bicyclo[1.1.1]pentanes (BCPs) have found application as bioisosteres of aromatic rings in drug development. However, catalytic construction of this motif with adjacent stereocenters with high enantioselectivity from readily available starting materials ...

Volatile organic compounds in northern New England marine and continental environments during the ICARTT 2004 campaign [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Volatile organic compound (VOC) measurements were made during the summer 2004 International Consortium for Atmospheric Research on Transport and Transformation (ICARTT) at Thompson Farm (TF), a continental site 25 km from the New Hampshire coast, and ...

Health Hazard Manual for Firefighters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
[Excerpt] Firefighters, as well as victims, can be exposed to a variety of toxic substances during a fire. Some of these toxicants are particularly insidious because they are produced by thermal decomposition before smoke makes a fire ...

Synthesis of Highly Cis, Syndiotactic Polymers via Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization Using Ruthenium Metathesis Catalysts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The first example of ruthenium-mediated ring-opening metathesis polymerization generating highly cis, highly tactic polymers is reported. While the cis content varied from 62 to >95% depending on the monomer structure, many of the polymers ...

Air quality in Mecca and surrounding holy places in Saudi Arabia during Hajj: initial survey. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The Arabian Peninsula experiences severe air pollution, the extent and sources of which are poorly documented. Each year in Saudi Arabia this situation is intensified during Hajj, the Holy Pilgrimage of Islam that draws millions of pilgrims to Mecca.

Organophosphides: A New Class of Luminophore Ligands for Copper(I) Carbene Based TADF Emitters and Photocatalysts

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Dimesitylphosphide as a heavier congener of established amide ligands for charge‐transfer copper(I) complexes leads to bathochromic shift of the emission by up to 3645 cm−1 into the orange‐red (solid, polymer films) and even NIR (solution). The thermally activated delayed fluorescence exhibits high dissymmetry factors of glum = 10−2 in polystyrene.
