Periodic groups in which all involutions are odd transpositions.
We prove the local finiteness of some periodic groups generated by odd transpositions. As a consequence of our results we will show that the Suzuki simple groups Sz (22m+1) are recognizable by their spectrum in the class of periodic ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Periodic Pattern Analysis under Affine Distortions Using Wallpaper Groups
In this paper, the mathematical theory of wallpaper groups is used to construct a computational tool for symmetry analysis of periodic patterns.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

On the topology of deformation spaces of Kleinian groups
Let M be a compact, hyperbolizable 3-manifold with nonempty incompressible boundary and fundamental group G, and let AH(G) denote the space of (conjugacy classes of) discrete faithful representations of G into PSL(2, C). The components of the interior MP(

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

On the automorphism groups of periodic automata
The purpose of this investigation is to determine how the structure of a strongly connected strictly periodic automaton is reflected in the structure of its automorphism group. It is shown that the group of automorphisms of an automaton of this type can be represented as the direct product of two normal subgroups. The automorphism group for the special

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...
