On a first order unilateral evolutive periodic problem.

open access: yesRatio Mathematica, 1996
We consider the periodic problem related to a first order evolutive variational equation and we study existence of solution.

Composition law of cardinal order permutations

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper the theorems that determine composition laws for both cardinal ordering permutations and their inverses are proven. So, the relative positions of points in a hs-periodic orbit become completely known as well as in which order those points ...

Applicability of mitotic figure counting by deep learning: a development and pan‐cancer validation study

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

ON PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF THE SECOND ORDER EQUATION

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
The sufficient conditions for the existence of several isolated periodic solutions of the equation are obtained.

On the location of spectral edges in $\mathbb{Z}$-periodic media

open access: yes, 2010
Periodic $2$nd order ordinary differential operators on $\R$ are known to have the edges of their spectra to occur only at the spectra of periodic and antiperiodic boundary value problems.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Multiplicity of Periodic Solutions for a Higher Order Difference Equation

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We study a higher order difference equation. By Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction methods and computations of critical groups, we prove that the equation has four M-periodic solutions.

Analysis and control of displaced periodic orbits in the Earth-Moon system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We consider displaced periodic orbits at linear order in the circular restricted Earth-Moon system, where the third massless body is a solar sail. These highly non-Keplerian orbits are achieved using an extremely small sail acceleration. In this paper we

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.
