Update on peripheral nerve injuries
International Disability Studies, 1988Experimental work relating to factors affecting nerve regeneration is reviewed. There is increasing evidence that the nerve sprouts are preprogrammed for their peripheral reinnervation; old endoneurial tubes being discarded.
