Genetically Engineered Probiotic Nanoplatform for Ultrasound‐Enhanced Colorectal Cancer Therapy via Targeted Delivery, Immune Modulation, and Anti‐Angiogenesis

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
The study constructed an integrated diagnosis‐treatment system by using engineered probiotic EcN expressing ARGs and Cur‐Lip‐FA. It enables US guided tumor targeting, real‐time in vivo drug monitoring, and US‐assisted curcumin induced immunogenic cell death, and activating the cGAS‐STING pathway to boost CD4+/CD8+ T cell anti‐tumor immunity.

Patient Expectations in High‐Risk Abdominal Surgery for Cancer

open access: yesHealth Expectations, Volume 29, Issue 4, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Despite the central role of expectations in informed consent and surgical shared decision‐making, patient expectations frequently remain unelicited or underexplored and are often assumed rather than explicitly addressed. Marked attenuation of P63 expression in plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma with expanded immunohistochemical framework including E‐cadherin, P120, HER2 and TRPS1

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 89, Issue 2, Page 338-346, August 2026.
Plasmacytoid urothelial carcinoma demonstrates marked attenuation of p63 expression together with frequent disruption of the E‐cadherin–p120 adhesion complex, supporting its characteristic discohesive growth pattern. Standardized HER2 scoring identifies a substantial positive subset, highlighting diagnostic pitfalls and potential therapeutic relevance ...

DNA‐mimic for Specific Surface Functionalization of Zr‐MOFs for Bacterial Targeting

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 30, 20 July 2026.
We introduce phosphotyrosine‐modified PNA as a superior, single‐step post‐synthesis surface coating for PCN‐222. The DNA mimic allows for controlled post‐functionalization with single‐stranded DNA for the attachment of protein moieties for bacterial targeting. ABSTRACT Nanosized metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are versatile platforms used in biomedical
