Highly sensitive fluorescent pH microsensor based on the ratiometric dye pyranine immobilized on silica microparticles [PDF]
Pyranine (HPTS) is a remarkably interesting pH sensitive dye that has been used for plenty of applications. Its high quantum yield and extremely sensitive ratiometric fluorescence against pH change makes it a very favorable for pH sensing applications and development of pH nano/microsensors.

An Extended Gate Field Effect Transistor (EGFET)-based pH Microsensor Utilizing a Polypyyrole Coated pH Microelectrode [PDF]
Here, an ultra-small size, simple and inexpensive metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET)-integrated needle type EGFET pH microsensor was fabricated. The EGFET pH microsensor has the potential to be applied to fast and precise local pH measurements. The system was composed of two components; a pH sensitive probe and a MOSFET.

PH-Pfaffian order in a translationally and rotationally invariant system [PDF]
The PH-Pfaffian topological order has been proposed as a candidate order for the $\nu=5/2$ quantum Hall effect. The PH-Pfaffian liquid is known to be the ground state in several coupled wire and coupled stripe constructions. No translationally and rotationally invariant models with the PH-Pfaffian ground state have been identified so far.

A Hafnian PH-Pfaffian State for 5/2 Quantum Hall Effect [PDF]
The PH-Pfaffian state having 1/2 central charge is consistent with the thermal Hall conductance measurement of 5/2 fractional quantum Hall system, but lacks support from the existing numerical results. In this paper we propose a new state described by a wavefunction obtained by multiplying a Hafnian factor to a PH-Pfaffian wavefunction.

Solving general gauge theories on inner product spaces [PDF]
By means of a generalized quartet mechanism we show in a model independent way that a BRST quantization on an inner product space leads to physical states of the form |ph>=e^{[Q, \psi]} |ph>_0 where Q is the nilpotent BRST operator, \psi a hermitian fermionic gauge fixing operator, and |ph>_0 BRST invariant states determined by a hermitian set of BRST ...
