Se presenta por primera vez una lista de macroalgas marinas del golfo de Ana María, plataforma suroriental de Cuba. La recolecta dio como resultado 75 taxones, 24 de Rhodophyta, 14 Ochrophyta (Phaeophyceae) y 37 Chlorophyta.
