Constitutive Modelling of Sintered Steel by Phase-field Method
The phase-field method is lately one of the most popular approaches for modelling of complex fracture phenomena. As known, the displacement field and phase-field variable cannot be determined simultaneously, except for easy problems, due to non-convexity of the energy functional.

Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

Cross-phase modulation in rubidium-87
This thesis explores the theoretical foundations of cross-phase modulation (XPM) between optical fields in the N-configuration atom. This is the process by which the refractive index experienced by one field can be modulated by controlling the intensity

A Flux-Corrected Phase-Field Method for Surface Diffusion
Phase-field methods with a degenerate mobility have been widely used to simulate surface diffusion motion. However, apart from the motion induced by surface diffusion, adverse effects such as shrinkage, coarsening and false merging have been observed in ...
