Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Phase-Type Distributions and Majorization
The Annals of Applied Probability, 1991 Aldous and Shepp recently proved that the Erlang distribution of a given order is the least variable phase-type distribution of that order, in the sense of minimizing the coefficient of variation.
