Method of Range Ambiguity Suppression Combining Sparse Reconstruction and Matched Filtering

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2022
To a certain extent, SAR images are affected by range ambiguity due to antenna sidelobe characteristics and pulse operating system. The work of range ambiguity suppression focuses on SAR system design and signal processing.

$nπ$ phase ambiguity of cosmic birefringence

open access: yesPhysical review letters
We point out that the rotation angle $β$ of cosmic birefringence, which is a recently reported parity-violating signal in the cosmic microwave background (CMB), has a phase ambiguity of $nπ\,(n\in\mathbb{Z})$. This ambiguity has a significant impact on the interpretation of the origin of cosmic birefringence.

High‐Resolution MRI Revealed Different Etiology‐Specific Associations With Cerebral Infarction in Adult Moyamoya Vasculopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective High‐resolution MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial vessel wall pathology in moyamoya vasculopathy. We aimed to classify adult moyamoya vasculopathy etiologies using high‐resolution MRI and to examine subtype‐specific associations between high‐resolution MRI features and ischemic infarction.

Long‐Term Efficacy of Immunotherapy in Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy—A 10‐Year Follow Up Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy (AAG) is a rare but potentially treatable cause of severe autonomic failure. Evidence guiding long‐term immunotherapy, treatment sequencing, and residual autonomic impairment is limited. We evaluated long‐term treatment response, residual autonomic dysfunction, and relapse patterns in patients with

Ambiguity Resolution for Passive 2-D Source Localization with a Uniform Circular Array

open access: yesSensors, 2018
This paper proposes two novel phase-based algorithms for the passive localization of a single source with a uniform circular array (UCA) under the case of measuring phase ambiguity based on two phase difference observation models, which are defined as ...

Discrete ambiguities in phase-shift analysis [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics A, 1975
In two practical examples (α-3He and α-α scattering) we investigate to what extent the elastic amplitude above the first inelastic threshold, determined from phase-shift analysis, is subject to ambiguity. We find that it is extremely difficult to determine the correct physical amplitude uniquely.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Research on the multiple subarray-pairs interferometric algorithm used in high resolution multibeam bathymetric system

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2010
An optimized subarray configuration was analyzed theoretically for the performance enhancement of inter-ferometric algorithm used in multibeam bathymetric system, and the relationship between phase ambiguity existed in in-terferometric algorithm and ...

Split-Band Interferometry-Assisted Phase Unwrapping for the Phase Ambiguities Correction [PDF]

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2017
Split-Band Interferometry (SBInSAR) exploits the large range bandwidth of the new generation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors to process images at subrange bandwidth. Its application to an interferometric pair leads to several lower resolution interferograms of the same scene with slightly shifted central frequencies.
