Phase Composition and Structure of Aluminum – Coating Composite
Glass and Ceramics, 2004Low-melting enamel coatings for household aluminum kitchenware are synthesized. The possibility of formation of low-melting glasses in the system R2O – Al2O3 – B2O3 – TiO2 – P2O5 is studied. An optimum glass matrix composition with a decreased firing temperature (580°C) is selected.

Interpenetrating Phase Composites
Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1992An assessment of the processing and properties of interpenetrating phase composites is presented. Such materials, defined as multiphase composites in which each phase is topologically interconnected throughout the micro‐structure, were the subject of a DOE Basic Energy Sciences sponsored workshop on research needs and opportunities held in July 1989 in

The Phase Composition of Triton's Polar Caps
Science, 1993Triton's polar caps are modeled as permanent nitrogen deposits hundreds of meters thick. Complex temperature variations on Triton's surface induce reversible transitions between the cubic and hexagonal phases of solid nitrogen, often with two coexisting propagating transition fronts.

On the phase composition of meteorites
Journal of Geophysical Research, 1962Seventy-three chondrites were examined. Their content of metallic nickel-iron, troilite, chromite, and silicate was determined quantitatively by planimetric integration of polished sections with an integration ocular, type 1. More than 300 large polished sections were measured, constituting a total area of 3700 cm2.

Multi-Phase Efficient Service Composition
2008 Seventh International Conference on Grid and Cooperative Computing, 2008There are always a number of services published or destroyed ceaselessly on the Internet, so how to make sure that the composite services are incessantly flexible, available and executed effectively has been one of the main focuses all the while.

Nonstoichiometric Phases—Composition, Properties and Phase Transitions
2017Nonstoichiometric phases constitute a large family of technologically important materials. Among them, the inorganic materials whose variable stoichiometry of some components originates from their exchange with surrounding atmosphere represent particular thermodynamic systems referred to a partly open system.

Crystal engineering of the composition of pharmaceutical phases
Chemical Communications, 2002The carboxylic acid-pyridine supramolecular heterosynthon can be exploited to predictably generate binary crystalline phases involving rac-ibuprofen, rac-flurbiprofen or aspirin.

Phase Composition and Phase Stability of Alloy IN939
1982The experimental techniques of atom probe time of flight mass spectrometry, field emission STEM X-ray microanalysis and electron probe microanalysis have been used to investigate the composition and stability of the various phases in alloy IN939 as a function of heat treatment and long term exposure. The results show a need for some refinement of phase

Effects of mechanical processing on phase composition
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2002One factor that must be considered during drug development process is that various types of pharmaceutical manufacturing can alter the physical characteristics of the drug entity. These effects become particularly important during scale-up of processing operations, because new and unanticipated results can become manifest in systems of insufficient ...

Domains composed of a porous part and an adjacent free‐flow region are of special interest in many fields of application. So far, the coupling of free flow with porous‐media flow has been considered only for single‐phase systems. Here we extend this classical concept to two‐component nonisothermal flow with two phases inside the porous medium and one ...
