Abstract Abscisic acid (ABA) is a key phytohormone in plant responses to water deficit. Although there is extensive evidence that roots can synthesise ABA, recent findings suggest that local synthesis in response to dehydration contributes little to the root ABA pool compared to shoot‐sourced ABA.

Abstract figure legend Traditional planar imaging approaches of the left atrium do not capture complex geometry. Four‐dimensional imaging allows the acquisition of 3D data + time to visualize left atrial geometry and kinematics. We designed an advanced analysis technique to investigate left atrial biomechanics in a model of pressure overload and ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a double‐tuned calf coil with excellent 1H and 31P performance to study muscle physiology by interleaved 1H/31P MRS and parallel imaging at 7 T. Methods The coil combines three 1H transceive dipoles, six 1H receive‐only loops and three 31P transceive loops, arranged in a nested, half‐cylindrical layout.

AI-Based 2D Phase Unwrapping Under Rayleigh-Distributed Speckle Noise and Phase Decorrelation
Phase unwrapping is a critical step in interferometric imaging modalities such as holography and synthetic aperture radar, yet conventional analytical algorithms struggle in low signal-to-noise and high-speckle environments.

Polynomial phase estimation by phase unwrapping
Estimating the coefficients of a noisy polynomial phase signal is important in fields including radar, biology and radio communications. One approach attempts to perform polynomial regression on the phase of the signal. This is complicated by the fact that the phase is wrapped modulo 2 and must be unwrapped before regression can be performed.

ABSTRACT Background Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) presents with early neurodevelopmental alterations in preschool children, yet comprehensive characterization using multimodal quantitative MRI remains limited in this age group. Purpose To investigate voxel‐wise brain microstructural differences in preschool ASD through integrated analysis of cerebral ...

InSAR phase unwrapping: a polarimetric approach
This paper addresses a polarimetric approach to improve the interferometric phase estimation based on an extension of the ESPRIT algorithm applied to different kinds of scatterers. The basics of SAR interferometry are presented. The article introduces the ESPRIT algorithm using polarimetric data with a description of the scattering model, the ESPRIT ...

ABSTRACT Background Pathophysiological changes affect tissue cell composition and density. For example, neurodegenerative disorders and brain tumors are associated with cell loss and abnormal accumulation, respectively. In these scenarios, if monitored and tracked, tissue cellularity might be used to inform clinical diagnosis and management. Purpose To
