Analysis of Phenmedipham in Agricultural Products by HPLC
An analytical method was developed for the determination of phenmedipham (PM) in agricultural products using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. A sample was extracted with acetonitrile, and the acetonitrile layer was separated by salting-out. The acetonitrile phase was isolated and evaporated.

Abstract The different sensitivity of broad-leave weeds against the photosynthetic inhibitors phenmedipham and bentazon could be explained by the combined action of herbicide uptake and decomposition. In spite of fast uptake of phenmedipham by Beta vulgaris, this plant was not injured, because the herbicide was ...

Phenmedipham + Desmedipham Effects on Sugarbeet
AbstractPhenmedipham + desmedipham [3‐methoxycarbonylaminophenyl‐3‐methylcarbanilate plus ethyl m‐hydroxycarbanilate carbanilate (ester)], is a herbicide which controls a number of broadleaf weeds in sugarbeet (Beta vulgaris L.) by inhibiting Photosystem II. This hericide also decreases the photosynthetic activity of sugarbeet. Field tests at Fargo, ND,
