Grass phenylpropanoids: Regulate before using!
The phenylpropanoid pathway is responsible for the synthesis of lignin as well as a large number of compounds of fundamental importance for the biology of plants. Over the years, important knowledge has accumulated on how dicotyledoneous plants control various branches of phenylpropanoid accumulation, but comparable information on the grasses is ...

A novel root‐shoot‐root signaling relay, mediated by CLE peptides, coordinates drought adaptation in common bean. Root‐derived PvCLE11b translocates acropetally to leaves, inducing PvCLE16 expression via PvTCP10. Leaf‐accumulated PvCLE16 triggers stomatal closure and translocates basipetally to modulate root architecture.

Between Order and Confusion: Clearing up Structural Misconceptions in Carbon Materials Nomenclature
Despite the versatile use of carbon materials, inconsistent terminology and inadequate characterization – especially regarding graphene structures based on sp2‐hybridized carbon atoms – often cause confusion. This perspective clarifies terms like graphite, graphitic carbon, non‐graphitic carbon, and amorphous carbon by aligning IUPAC definitions with X‐
